Licensed Psychologist in California
CA PSY 32312
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of California (PSY32312) with experience working with individuals across the lifespan. I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, children, and families who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, and experiences of trauma. Often, my clients are navigating challenging life circumstances or have identified something causing distress or interfering with their goals. My clients benefit from time and space to explore and share their inner experiences in a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship while working collaboratively to identify recurring themes and patterns, and modify those that no longer serve them.

My approach is warm, empathetic, and focused on behavioral changes, growth, and solutions. I recognize that participating in therapy takes courage, and emphasize collaboration while tailoring treatment to each individual and family, understanding that every client is an expert on their unique experiences and that therapy is a partnership. I provide evidence-based treatment for individuals, families, and groups.

I integrate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a primarily cognitive behavioral (CBT) framework. I practice from a weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size (HAES)® perspective to support clients in healing their relationships with food, body, and self. I have specialized training in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and use these techniques and modalities to help my clients get “unstuck” and grow. In addition to my clinical practice, I am actively involved in research at the Stanford University School of Medicine, and integrate the most up-to-date findings to support clients’ wellbeing and healing.

Education & Training
I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of San Diego Counseling Center, where I focused on young adult development, group psychotherapy, and LGBTQ+ issues. I finished my training with a postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City, where I worked with the Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program and Adult Psychiatry Team. Before opening my own practice, I served as a staff psychologist at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City, where I treated anxiety, mood, and eating disorders, and led a team designed to stabilize individuals presenting with serious mental illnesses and acute psychological concerns.
